Fieldwork for the main Natsal-4 survey has now been completed, and no further interviews are being carried out. We are conducting a follow-up study with some people who have previously taken part in Natsal-4.

We will only contact you if you have given permission to be contacted again. If you have any questions, please use the contact form on the homepage to get in touch.

Natsal (also known as the National Study of Health and Relationships) is Britain’s flagship study of sexual behaviour, sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing. It has taken place every 10 years since 1990 and is one of the largest studies of its kind in the world. So far, 45,000 people have taken part in the Natsal surveys. The data collected provides an essential evidence base to inform public health policy, clinical practice and research.
